Steve Ford learned the Electrical business from his father, Bob Ford during his younger years. Steve would accompany his father as a youngster on many of his father's projects and you could say that "electricity is in Steve's blood." 

Steve and Teresa founded and operated SFI Electrical in 2002 until he sold the company in 2012. In 2015 the entrepreneurial spirit struck Steve and Teresa again, so they founded Positive Energy Electrical, LLC. This time, they engaged the services of a Business Coach to help establish the foundation of the company. They worked on their WHY, their Mission, Vision, Culture, and Uniqueness Statements. They selected the name "Positive Energy Electrical" to denote the culture they wanted to create. They then built their Mission, Vision, Culture, and Uniqueness around the idea of that name. 

Positive Energy Electric is a family owned business operating as a team. This is an important distinction because, although it is family owned and employs family members, the team is held accountable to each other and the company's Vision, Mission, Vision, Culture and Uniqueness Statements.
